That's how I've been eating recently (random)

and yet I've still lost a kilogram and a half in the past week from playing DDR. :) (The point being that you don't have to eat like Ghandi in order to lose weight.)

You realize, of course, that it's a transliteration, right? Both spellings are acceptable.

Just because lots of people get it wrong doesn't mean their version is right.

And I usually do; you just don't usually screw it up. :P
