Impulse Tracker on the Mac?! ()

by fluffy at 5:26 PM
Yes! IT runs under DOSBox!

It's really slow on my G4/450, and the function keys aren't mapped correctly, but still, this means that I can keep on using the best step-sequencer EVER at least for creating loops and such (which it's really awesome for), when I get a faster Mac anyway.

Yay!

I tried dosbox a while back too, but it was way too choppy even after adjusting as much as I could (frame rate skip/cpu cycles etc). But the other day I came across schism tracker which aims to be a fully compatible IT clone. It is the most successful I have tried (cheese tracker falls so short). check it out http://rigelseven.com/schism/ somebody was nice enough to provide an os x build too.
