Is it just me, or are the various "you need to change foo to bar" stuff on the C++ section of the gcc 3.4 changelist things which a sane programmer would never, ever do to begin with?

Or looking at it another way, I used to be a programmer. A good deal of my code was pretty brain dead. Hence, very few things surprise me.
Although, every now and then I will admit to having seen something so atrociously written that I even I took exception to the sanity of the person who wrote it.
