Someone just showed up at work saying he had a 10:00 appointment with John for a job interview — for some short-term Dreamweaver work.

I mean, hello?! Experienced web developer sitting here being paid $25/hour already?

No clue. But right now I'm waiting for him to get off the phone so I can ask him to add a single line to a BIND ACL so I can actually put this code into 'production.'

The number of times I had that happen to me... Seems once managers pigeonhole you as something, then they never consider you for anything else. It sucks.
