John's current "business dealing:" He's getting into the calling card scam business for extra capital while getting the VoIP business going.

His particular schtick: The "Stars and Stripes" calling plan. For every 100 cards which are bought, a 1000-minute calling card (worth $40) will be donated to a member of the military stationed in Iraq.

And, of course, the cards will have advertising for his VoIP business all over it. 'Coz they'll all have broadband and be eager to sign up for and recommend VoIP service based on a crappy calling card and stuff when they come back. Right.

(Oh, and the current stressometer reads an ulcer-causing 650μCecils.)

I just interviewed with a calling card company. I got the impression that it wasn't a 100% totally legit company. Plus they lied to me when they said they'd call last week regardless of whether I was hired or not. (I'm not naive I know people don't call back all the time, but don't lie to me about it ).
