The whole time I've been here I have been on a quest to find a good hamburger.

I have finally found a good hamburger.

Most places here make hamburgers which are about on-par with Waffle House: they are greasy, burnt, wet, and soggy little pucks of low-quality beef overdone on a too-hot grill, served with wilted cabbage and squishy slices of what attempts to be tomato.

But New York Burger Company, on 24th and Park Avenue, is actually good.

They use organic beef, they grill it on one of those cooktops with the slats so the grease drains away, they use fresh vegetables, and have the most amazing variety of condiments I've ever seen, as well as a great selection of cheeses and extras.

It is food like that which makes me glad I'm not a vegetarian. :D
