Yeah. Though even more interesting is what would happen if there were even more people on - would a gestalt emerge?
I've noticed that peoples' behavior really breaks down into only four categories, for the most part:
- Trying to spell "fuck"
- Trying to spell random words based on what's convenient
- Sorting the different colors into piles
- Specifically disrupting others (without attempting to do anything constructive of their own)
though when I first got on last night, some people were also having fun with using the shapes of the letters themselves, like using an I as a penis which was penetrating a U-vagina. Which really isn't too different from the first behavior, but at least it was slightly more creative. (So of course, I started dragging the U around slowly to see if the 13-year-old boy who was undoubtedly controlling the I would follow it around.)
But that's frickin cool... Although You can't seem to keep a word going long enough to get a word larger than 3 or 4 characters... I was trying xylophone, and got as far as Xylo before my letters got dragged off...
I've often wanted to setup an "interactive" game that had to do with a vending machine whereby inserting coins, pushing selection buttons and beating on the sides or front would, given certain combinations, result in something being dropped into the receiving bin... Just to see what the pavlovian reaction would be and how long people would keep doing random things to get results...
I want to try spelling "goatse cx" just for the hell of it, but people are using 40 sessions at a time and spoiling it for everybody else. See this thread.
I hope they implement some kind of per-IP limits soon so we can all get our childish kicks
