Crest Fresh Citrus Breeze ()

by fluffy at 12:34 AM
Remember how when you were a kid, your parents thought you weren't brushing your teeth enough so they thought that maybe it's because you didn't like mint and so they'd buy you that kid-oriented orange-flavored toothpaste, which tasted even worse so you'd brush even less?

Well, Crest has updated the flavor for adults, and it's actually pretty tasty. It tastes kind of like hot orange juice with cinnamon, only not hot, and the cinnamon might be a figment of my imagination. It also doesn't taste particularly like orange, either. But still, it's pretty yummy as far as toothpaste goes. Probably still not particularly edible though.

It is also definitely better-tasting than the crappy baking-soda toothpaste I was using previously. Though I wonder if mixing orange toothpaste with baking-soda toothpaste would make a toothpaste volcano, suitable for an elementary school "science" project.

It's probably not acidic though. Actually mixing real orange juice with this stuff would be more likely to generate a reaction. I'd also guess that real orange juice would still taste just as nasty right after brushing with this stuff. Maybe we should all start having mint julep for breakfast instead.

My 6-year-old daughter loves that kiddie orange toothpaste. Both kids hate mint. They've got weird tastes!

Orange-cinnamon does sound intriguing, but I've already got a longtime steady thing going on with Tom's Of Maine's Cinnamint.

The Cinnamint flavor is like brushing your teeth with a Red-Hot. Yum.

Mmm, Tom's Ginger. Hot Orange sounds curious though, heh heh.

That seems exceedingly wrong, somehow.
