#5039 03/12/2005 08:51 pm D'Oh!
Sorry I asked you about the boobs... What can I say? I'm male.
#5041 03/12/2005 09:19 pm
Heh, well, I was more afraid that Ed would ask why I had boobs at all.
#5042 03/12/2005 09:25 pm Oooh, good point.
I hadn't even thought of that.

Well, I'm sure he's going to ask about it now. ;p

I'm sure the tail will be the least of his issues when he realizes that he has pastel stripes. Very Happy

I'm now curious as to what I'd look like in fluffy-vision.

He should get that trademarked ASAP.

This forum brought to you in vibrant, plaidified Fluffy-Vision(tm)(c)(sm)

Did you read My Father's Dragon and its sequels a lot as a kid, Fluffy? The dragons in those books had color schemes nearly as wild as those you come up with. (Though they stayed with solid colors, per body part.)

In FluffyVision™ I am pretty sure I would prefer to look like Frank. He's not brightly colored, but his world is...

So I see the panel captions in yellow if I leave my mouse over them, but they get chopped off partway. How do I see the whole thing (besides reading the source, which is a pain)?
I would like to be deep bluey purple, but I don't know if I would be.

The captions are 'title' attributes on the images, which most web browsers show as tooltips. The chopping-off must be a bug in your browser; try using a different one. (They work fine for me in Safari on Mac OS X, btw.)

I have never heard of those books, though they sound like they'd be up my alley. My brain's just wired weird. It's kinda like synaesthesia but not (though I do have other mild synaesthesia as well though it's kind of intermittent).

Anyway, if we ever meet in person and you end up in a comic, your avatar will probably affect how I draw you, but wouldn't be the final say. (Like, part of how I draw Neill is based on how he looks on Second Life; the MUCK version of him is more like his SL avatar but with inverted colors and no wings, which is what he was talking about in his one line in the comic, which incidentally was about the only thing he said during the actual conversation too.)

(Oh, and Jim Woodring is awesome, yes. I need to get around to buying some of his stuff.)

Hmm... I have the same problem on FireFox 1.0.1 under Windows XP. Even though I have enough screen space to show the full tooltip, it gets cut off after something like 100 chars.
"So the text in the tooltip looks something like th..."
(with the ellipses at the end)

Looks like a hard limit in the browser.

Damnit, why does Firefox have to suck in such stupid places?
#5066 03/16/2005 12:08 pm
Why don't capable people like you submit patches for trivial things like this? Razz
#5067 03/16/2005 12:12 pm
Because I don't use Firefox except at work where I'm not supposed to be commenting on my weblog to begin with?

Fluffy-

Absolutely hysterical.

Hey, how do I get invited into your friends only list?
