Yay my pads are done being built (games)
Also, on the order form I left the comment, "Please fill my pads with love." They left a comment in response: "<3"

So I guess I'm still using the Palm, at least as a conduit to sync between Outlook and my Mac at home. I'll just have to have the Mac put all my appointments on the phone, and hope that any appointments scheduled on the same day as the event have the reminder show up when I'm at my computer at work (since I've set the Palm's alarm to be silent since I was just hoping to reduce the number of alarm-raising devices). Oh well. I was still keeping the Palm in my backpack as a quick-access web device anyway, so this way I can still just keep it in my backpack instead of needing to put it in my pocket. Which still solves the primary problem of "too much crap in my pockets."
As a bonus it should be fully-compatible with Clicker but at this point I'd be willing to not bother with it anymore.
It's a cool app but I don't really use it that much anymore, and anyway I can still use my Palm with it.
First: I have two totally distinct albums, "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (Radio Show)" and "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (Motion Picture Soundtrack)." These are distinct albums with distinct names, genres, artist, etc. But when I play them in iTunes, it plays one track from one, then one track from the other, intermingling them based on track number, even though they have different names. Even if it's assuming that the stuff inside parentheses is a retarded "Disc 1" or whatever, that's still incorrect behavior because that means that it'd play 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 1-2, 2-2, 3-2, etc. on a three-disc album.
The other retarded thing is that iTunes 5.0 no longer has a way of providing bug reports on iTunes itself. The feedback page has been replaced with a music request page, as if iTunes itself is perfect and the only possible problem anyone could conceivably have with iTunes is a lack of music selection in the store. Ugh.
(If you think the pads are expensive, order a pair and wait 'till you see the shipping on them.)

Annoyingly enough, they did film the "mostly harmless" scene, but they cut it, as well as the second half of the Babel Fish guide entry, and about 15 seconds of material in the final scene which explained a lot about Zaphod's relationship with the vice president. All in all it was about two minutes cut out. Oh well.
My junk folder has 25494 items from the last week alone. ("Only" 400 or so have gotten past bogofilter, and they all went into my greylist folder so were easy to train on.)
How much money did I spend on this crap in college? I didn't have any fun playing any of them. I also haven't had much fun with any modern games, really. Except Katamari Damacy and DDR. But even those get old after a while.
Short-term remote contracts and so on are also fine.
It seems that I got up a bit quickly, and passed out while walking back inside, and I hit my head pretty hard on the ground. I also scraped up my left elbow. I probably have a minor concussion but nothing worth an emergency room visit.
Two hundred police officers have walked off the job. Two have committed suicide.
Halliburton was awarded the navy's cleanup contract.
George W. Bush said, "The good news is -- and it's hard for some to see it now -- that out of this chaos is going to come a fantastic Gulf Coast, like it was before . Out of the rubbles of Trent Lott's house -- he's lost his entire house -- there's going to be a fantastic house. And I'm looking forward to sitting on the porch." Then he laughed.
Tonight I watched the news, and I don't want to watch it anymore.
At least it's not just Americans who don't get it.
Right now Marcus is staying at my place for Bumbershoot. Last night we saw The Forty-Year-Old Virgin, which was quite good, and a surprisingly sympathetic and kind treatment. He wasn't portrayed as a dork so much as having given up on romance and devoting his attentions elsewhere. Which I think is cool.
