Flexible seating (comic)

(This actually happened on August 4. I sketched it that day but didn't get around to inking it until just now.)

This is, unfortunately, a pretty common occurrence at the amazon.com parking lot. The back seats in the Toyota Matrix fold down. So does the front passenger seat. In reality, my car was blocked on the right as well, but I never let the truth get in the way of a good punchline.

I'd really like to do this as an ad for the Matrix, for what it's worth. Even though it'd totally fit with VW's advertising style.

I once did something as stupid while getting a Christmas tree. We took my crappy old car and I tied the tree to my roof. I was all proud of my tying job. Then I tried to open the driver's side door.

Just as in that old VW commercial, the door was tied shut. The really dumb part was that that commercial was running at the time.

We ended up crawling in the windows and driving off.

Heh, we actually have an internal one, though it hasn't been updated in a while (I think the guy who updated it left a couple years ago).
