I finally got sick enough of dealing with soft pads that I went and just ordered a Cobalt Flux doubles set.

(If you think the pads are expensive, order a pair and wait 'till you see the shipping on them.)

I totally need to get back into a regular exercise routine though, and the gimpiness of soft pads was a huge demotivator.

Plus, two years ago (back when I interviewed at Alien Skin) I swore that as soon as I got a full-time job I'd buy a CF doubles set. I put it off at my last job because I was so vastly underpaid and my cost of living was so high, but now I'm making plenty, so it's about time I followed through.
