lago and I did a (bad) recording of it when he was in Las Cruces, but I'd written it something like a year prior to that.

I knew I remembered that from somewhere in my Las Cruces days. I can't believe that was only 4 years ago.

Something about Las Cruces makes everything about it seem like the distant past. It exists in a haze or something.

Goes along with how nearly everyone I knew there (who was there for the long haul) was both very smart but also very broken in some fundamental way.

Hm, that's odd. I can only see the comments on this entry when I'm logged in.

It looks like comments that are posted while an entry is in friends-only mode remain friends-only after the entry becomes public later.
