Smashing ()

Well, I was going to spend the night finally playing the PC version of TF2 (which I bought a week ago or so), but instead my copy of Smash Bros Brawl arrived! So I will be playing that instead.

First gripe: It doesn't say which buttons to push to continue on the initial startup screens. The A button doesn't work. Turns out you have to press +. Weird. Actually a lot of the stuff in the UI is pretty whack.

Second gripe: Too many friends codes. I really must do something about that. Anyway, mine is 1032-0942-8357.

So when are you going to have a SSB party?

(Note: for some reason the phpbb will not let me logon nor will it mail me a password. Someone hacked it maybe? It got disabled? Whatever.)

You never activated your account. I went and did it for you. Make sure you have the email address set right.

Okay, now that I have gotten WFC working (or rather, it started working on its own) and have done several friends matches, I have a HUGE gripe: during an intense battle, the game will suddenly put up a big screen that's essentially the Wii equivalent of a BSOD, saying there was a communication error and to please try again later. No button on the system is responsive (not even the reset button). You have to actually hard-power it off! Sloppy, sloppy.

Of course this would always have to happen when I'm actually winning. Grr.
