okay I know it's a bit early to say that (since only 9% of precincts are reporting yet and 0% of San Francisco has) but it offends the fuck out of me that even 5.5% of this state's voters would be so RETARDED. you should fucking be BETTER than that.

I find it a huge disappointment that Prop 8 has succeeded. A blow for minority rights everywhere, but particularly for the gay community.
I just don't know whey those religious nutters care.
California's referendum system is FUCKED UP.
okay actually it's 95.4% reporting so there is still a very very slim chance that when the remaining votes are counted, prop 8 will (barely) lose (if every remaining vote is for NO and the remaining precincts have the same average number of votes as the reported precincts, then 'yes' will ddrop to 49.6%) but I'm not holding my breath.
