More dentistry ()

by fluffy at 4:04 PM
So, the three remaining pre-Seattle fillings (one from grad school and two old silver ones from when I was a kid) needed to be replaced. Today I went in to get the first two (on the right side of my mouth) done. My dentist has everything in his office set up to try to prevent at least a veneer of relaxation, and one of those things is a continuous slideshow of vacation photos on a swing-arm-mounted monitor.

So, of course, while I was waiting for the numbing agent to kick in, I had "Be A Dentist" from Little Shop of Horrors stuck in my head. And then a little bit later, a photo came up of some weird plant which looked rather a lot like Audrey II.

My recent dental adventures have hurt my wallet far more than they've hurt me.

I think it's better that your dental adventures hurt your wallet now that it will in the next years to come. At least you won't have to spend too much for a dental treatment anymore (hopefully)

yes, some dental services can really wound our pockets. that is why i try my best to establish good dental habits so that I can avoid too much work during my visits to the dentist.

You have a good point of view. We shouldn't be bothered of the money because at the first place, this speaks for your health. In health talks, we shouldn't deprived ourselves. Well, it is a fact that dental fees are expensive but the result is a long-term beautiful smile. The money you invested in it, never burn and the glee never fades. Very Happy
