i made this one for a gift, but i've already cast on another for moi.

she'll be here friday and saturday april 3rd and 4th, and she'll be taking appointments for all day/ night both days at my house.

i am so grateful for quiet time with the scriptures.

back in a few days

and you are happy.

really, cate is also mexican, japanese, native american, swiss, and a lot more- a true american- so we actually have a lot of family history travelling to do, but i really love the romantic beauty of ireland, and have always been drawn to that part of the world. plus i really love corned beef.

the best part of dinner was the irish soda bread- it was so so good, and it's really easy to make.

i LOVE this picture and am so inspired to keep the needles moving.

i am going to turn on some good music and choose to be happy.

there's a tiny restaurant

with the sun streaming in

may the light always find you on a dreary day.

my sister and hair stylist, coco, is coming to utah county once again to meet our hair needs.

and a delicious coke.

and you eat with your sunglasses on

Coco

i love her style.

i told cate about st. patrick's day and ireland- she has a lot of irish ancestors through me.

doesn't she look like lucy from chronicles of narnia?

I found half a dozen or so of those type of spam in my inbox today, when I normally see *maybe* one spam every couple days. Looks like someone found a new trick to evade the filters.

Yeah, a lot more has been coming through lately. Also, my mom has been complaining that a lot more legitimate mail has been filed into spam lately, but she's also on some shitty webmail provider that isn't gmail.

Also got 2 spams looking very much like this today. We are still using SMTP why, again?

Because nothing better has come along to replace it which doesn't have its own set of major problems. The most straightforward fixes require webs of trust, which in turn requires strong crypto to really work right, which requires a lot more server capacity, and in the end that still only helps as long as no bad trust ever creeps into the network.
