It's pretty obvious that they just took Mathematica's parser and tried to apply it to things besides math. The demo video makes it look very exciting, until you realize that the engine has only been hardcoded for those specific examples.

I'm still trying to figure out how it considers "bolt" and "bulge" to be members of the synonym network for "love".

A blonde was taking wood shop class, and the instructor asked her if she knew what the difference between a screw, a nail, and a bolt was. She said she'd never been bolted.

Bulge should be obvious.

Late-breaking update: "What is love?" actually generates answers which are at least factually-accurate and topical, even if a bit... clinical.
