My biggest complaint about the iPhone ()

A phone works a lot better if it lets you, you know, ANSWER. Sometimes a call will come in and the touch screen will be completely unresponsive while it keeps on ringing away. Sometimes I'll manage to accept the call right before it goes to voicemail. Usually I don't.

This seems like it's the most basic function of a telephone, and the primary reason for a cellphone in particular.

Actually, it can be even worse when it doesn't even ring when a call comes in, like my Sidekick often doesn(n't).

Yes, that was an issue I had with the Sidekick as well. One of many.

I've found a workaround to the iPhone problem, by the way - press the top power button to silence it. That seems to smack it into sense enough that answering then works. (This also works in the case that the touch screen is responsive but the little "slide to answer" tab just bounces back instead of fulfilling the action.)

Freaking Apple.
