For the record, Juni has no belly button, but I'll let it slide.

Drake Appaz sent me this. It was funny even without knowing anything about what it was referencing. Is that obscure or not? I didn't have cable growing up and anyway this show was on when I was in high school so all of my peers would have been too cool to admit watching it.

Kali: You are our leading scientist? I feel dry.

Technically, Juni is a monotreme. Kali's just a phylum bigot.

Kali has a way of making beer sound completely unappealing.

Kali: So, Melrose: Were you attempting to pull a rag over my feelers, hm? Distract me from a real story with this fabrication?

Kali: You expect me to believe you did not know you were seen in an embrace with your ever-present accomplice?!

Kali: Over fluids?
Juni: Sure.

Unity: Something of interest (2007/05/21)

Of course this could be a triple-reverse-inverted-fake-out. Or is that just what they want you to think?!

Juni: ...and that's all I know about what's going on.
Kali: I see. It is of interest. Why did you come to me, then?

Juni: You're the only person I've... met... who doesnt seem to be involved.

Kali: As far as you know. Coming to me may have put you in danger.

Kali: It is conspirators who make such promises. You need honesty.

Juni is this close to realizing it really shouldn't have done that. Never conspire angry!

Kali: You said you left Roarke at the beach, correct? Why has he not called you?

Juni: I don't have a comm... He seems to handle all my affairs.

Kali: In that case, it is likely that your absence may cause more consternation. I suggest you return to your residence.
Juni: Okay...
Kali: I will start my article now. Please contact me with any developments.

2007/05/30: I'm sick

I've been fighting off a bad sinus infection turned bronchitis for the last few days, so I haven't felt like working on comics for a while. Sorry to keep my readers hanging! (Both of you.)

2007/05/21: Ack, RSS feed

Sorry to everyone who reads by RSS and was just spammed with EVERY SINGLE COMIC EVER MADE. I was tweaking my RSS template and messed up.

2007/05/21: Creation process

For those who care, I've put up a fairly detailed look at how I make my comics. It doesn't discuss the parts where I get drunk and/or depressed over my general ineptitude.

2007/05/11: Scripting

I've come up with some pretty darn good (at least, I think they are) ideas for Unity (to follow along after the current mini-plot which I actually wrote a couple months ago) and now I actually have quite a bit scripted (about 12 strips, plus sketches for where it goes after that). So much for the "completely make it up as I go along" ideal. (Actually I think this will help things a lot since having a more concrete idea of where to take it is definitely helpful.)

2007/05/03: Comics ARE in progress

I'm just really caught up in playing with my Wii. I've never played with a Wii before. It is quite pleasurable. Eventually I'll get bored with my Wii. In the meantime I have one comic mostly drawn and a few nearly-written, and maybe a journal comic while I'm at it. (It will not be about me playing with my Wii. Or masturbating.)
