A TRUE STORY: I saw the door in the background on panel 3 and decided it needed a sign on it to signify its room number and purpose, so I spent quite some time coming up with a number system and a few more words in Hiero, their language, to convey what exactly the room was for. While I was at it I went ahead and started drawing a dictionary so I could collect words and grammar forms as I came up with them. After painstakingly coming up with all this, I then very carefully made a very well-crafted sign for the door, and spent a good 15 minutes tweaking the effects on the text layer. Then when I turned my foreground layer on, I found out that Juni's head OBSCURED THE WHOLE THING. You will just have to believe me when I say that there is a very nice sign on the door behind Juni's head, because there is. I really have no idea where this is going. Yet again I wrote a big script which gave me ideas for a framework but which I ended up throwing out due to boringness.

Just seeing if this actually shows up on Google Reader. It seems to take 1-2 days to publish comic entries even though it scrapes the feed hourly. What the hell.

Okay, OhNoRobot is having too many problems lately, and I'd rather have the transcription accessible directly on my site anyway. Does anyone know of any decent self-hosted transcription tools? (If not I guess I could write my own which is probably easier for me to deal with anyway, but, meh.)
