Unity: 69. Justifiable skepticism (2007/11/07)

A TRUE STORY: I saw the door in the background on panel 3 and decided it needed a sign on it to signify its room number and purpose, so I spent quite some time coming up with a number system and a few more words in Hiero, their language, to convey what exactly the room was for. While I was at it I went ahead and started drawing a dictionary so I could collect words and grammar forms as I came up with them. After painstakingly coming up with all this, I then very carefully made a very well-crafted sign for the door, and spent a good 15 minutes tweaking the effects on the text layer. Then when I turned my foreground layer on, I found out that Juni's head OBSCURED THE WHOLE THING. You will just have to believe me when I say that there is a very nice sign on the door behind Juni's head, because there is.
