Sketchbook: Dream: Captured (2008/06/21)

I dreamt I was trapped in a castle owned by the mad scientist heiress of a vast fortune. I tried to escape, and so of course I had to be punished. She turned me into a blue scaly marsupial thing to force me to stay and be her pet for the rest of my life.

Duchess: Today I will be working in my laboratory. Stay out of trouble!

It has now been two years since the Duchess performed her vile miracle. Two years since I have been able to speak, or leave this prison that is now my home. I grow despondent. All the same, it is as if my previous life has ceased to be, a mere glimmer of an almost-remembered dream.

2008/06/28: Experiment

Generally I've worked on one main series (currently Unity) and then doing other things (journal comics, random one-offs, sketches, etc.) as they came up, but I've decided to try having two simultaneous, scheduled series run at the same time: Unity, and Womble, the latter of which was inspired by a dream I had. Womble comics will run on Saturdays (and I have quite a backlog for them since they are just so much fun to do!), and weekdays will be for the other comics on the usual sporadic update schedule. Also, should anyone want to send me fanart I will happily run it on Sundays (hint, hint).
