Wendy is one of our UI designers, and everyone on the UI design team seems to have this strange notion that software engineers are incapable of being anything other than an uptight nerdy engineer without any sense of style or aesthetics, and apparently we're all heterosexual males who want to be seen as macho and strait-laced. I think they think that software engineers do nothing but make code all day long.
The fact I have an electric guitar in my cubicle to practice on (and not because, as they figure, I'm "working on a music game or something") just blows their minds.
Oh, and the hair stylist is Blanca, who is awesome.
