busybee comics is now on Archive Binge!

Archive Binge is a great service which allows you to create a retroactive RSS feed in order to catch up on comics with large archives. I've been using it to catch up on a few huge ones that I haven't been able to dedicate any time to reading, and now my comics are on there as well! So if you've been wanting to read my archives but haven't known where to start, now you can.

It lets you start reading at any point, as well, so if you want to start with a particular series, just go to my archive page, select the series you want to start with, and use its first comic as the start date for the Archive Binge feed.

Anyway, while you're there, I'd also recommend using it to catch up on Templar, Arizona and featuring Talking Guinea Pigs!. There are a few dozen other comics that I haven't had a chance to check out yet, either. I'm sure there'll be something there you like.

I think this is the first Unity strip title to make me LOL.

"This" being the strip dated 2009/10/14.

(Why does the first comment post think it's 1970?)

For reference, this is the strip being referred to ("Rendezvous with Mama"). The comic itself has a comment thread. Someday I need to figure out a way to make that more clear.

I backdate auto-generated threads so that they don't clog up the forum listing unless people have posted in them. phpBB isn't very good as a comment engine, but there wasn't anything more suitable when I set this up 6 years ago and at this point it would be a gigantic hassle to switch to anything better. Sometimes I think about making my own from scratch but I already have too much stuff to do at any given time.

Not much you can do about reader obliviousness. Embarassed I only look at the strip navigation controls if I suspect that I've missed an update. The only other comment I've made here was on your recent reader poll.

I figured the date was a software issue. I prefer phpBB on the sites I frequent to the alternatives on other sites I've used, anyway. (My favorite forum software was custom-coded by that site's webmaster, and even that site eventually switched to an easier to maintain package.)
