188. Suiting up

Transcript

[[Hira sits on Juni's bed, while Juni rifles through its closet]]
Hira: How can you treat me this way? I'm your mother.
Juni: This is all for a good cause. I promise you can go home very soon.
Hira: Meh. After I do what, exactly?
Juni: Ed's [Hiero:tribunal] is part of a plan to expose the [Hiero:Academy] for what they are.
[[Juni puts on a shirt]]
Juni: Tamu has been suppressing vital research, and has attempted to discredit me. But he's the Dean General, so it is practically impossible to [Hiero:file suit] against him.
Juni: Ed and I worked out a different way to get him to [Hiero:court].
[[Juni checks something projected from its bed-side data node]]
Hira: Bah. And this will happen soon?
Juni: They say it starts today, but I haven't gotten a [Hiero:subpoena].
Hira: I don't know these words you keep using.
Juni: Well, if we need you, I"ll call and arrange for transport.
Juni: You should explore the city. Take a node and wear something nice out.

I think Juni was more thinking about the system that led it to need this situation to happen to begin with.
