2007/08/10: Getting back into the groove

Okay, I'm sort of drawing again (even though I still haven't moved yet). I think from now on, whenever I finish a strip, I'll just schedule it to appear as soon as there's a day that there isn't already a strip (i.e. immediately if there was no strip that day, or the first midnight which doesn't already have a strip), rather than trying to do things based on an even-keeled buffer with a publication schedule and so on. Everyone reads via RSS or LiveJournal anyway (and if you don't, you should!) and by having too much of a forward buffer it actually has the opposite of the intended effect because I start to procrastinate.

2007/08/09: I will get back to this someday!

I just need to get back into a drawing groove. Life is pretty hectic right now though, as I'm moving down to San Francisco in a couple weeks and starting a new job. It's pretty aggravating how long I've had the next two Unity strips laid out without getting them inked or colored, especially since I have scripts for like anoher 10 strips after that which were to reveal a LOT of what's going on. But also I haven't drawn anything in a while so I'm way out of practice. I should spend more time at local coffee shops and just draw passers-by or something.
