The World’s Cheapest iPod/iPhone Stand
A post on a minimal iPhone/iPad stand reminded me that I never shared my secret to making an excellent and cheap iPod/iPhone holder. (This should also be compatible with most Android devices; however, Windows Phone users are on their own.)
Materials:
- One large metal paperclip
- (Optional) Some insulation taken off of some wire or a bit of shrink wrap or whatever (or use an insulated paper clip)
Procedure:
Bend the paperclip to look like this:
Insert iPhone/iPod/whatever:
If you want to hold a tablet such as an iPad or Galaxy Tab or Surface, simply start with a coat hanger instead.
