Well, this is silly: I just discovered that Bandcrash doesn’t properly escape HTML entities in the web preview player. Or rather, it didn’t. It does now, as of v0.7.9.
I have two upcoming VRChat performances happening.
UPDATE: I have made a separate VRChat group for my music stuff, MUSIC.1138. Please join that one for my VRChat concerts!
I hope to see you there!
Okay so, let me explain a thing about my two upcoming albums, and then a thought about a possible change of plans. I’d like to hear folks weigh in on these ideas.
Does it count as navel-gazing when my fursona canonically doesn’t have a navel?
Wellp it’s another day that I feel like talking about.
The other day in a chat about text editors (you know, the most important thing to anyone who spends a lot of time at a computer) someone recommended Zed and I figured I’d try it out. So this blog post is the first thing I’m writing in it.
My editor of choice for the past 10 years or so has been Sublime Text, although I’ve stayed with version 3 since I didn’t like some of the changes made in 4 (more in terms of features than in terms of licensing structure, although the latter was also a disincentive towards upgrading). At a glance, Zed looks like it’s a bit better in general.
So here’s some ramblings as I get acquainted with it.
As part of the Fediwave Artists Streaming Series, I have a concert scheduled for Tuesday, August 13 at 3 PM Pacific Daylight Time (GMT-0700). To watch, join my personal Owncast server. I’ll be playing acoustic versions of a bunch of my songs, and answering some Q&A as we go! And maybe sharing previews from my upcoming album!
Today something fucked up with my mail server and I’m sick of dealing with it, so I migrated my mail to Purely Mail, which is great, and there’s still a bunch of shit broken on my site as a result of things fucking up but whatever, at least now I can receive mail again and I don’t have to spend frantic hours to receive email when I’m already in the middle of a fucking crisis
it’s like $10/year and works great, and I’ll probably also drop mailgun for my outgoing because it handles that just fine too
Stuff’s going on as usual. Here’s some of it.
