Wrote an open letter to Paul:

Dear Paul Whiltshire,

I am known as fluffy, and I’m an artist who has been using Bandcamp since 2010. I have released over two dozen albums on the platform, and have long recommended it as the primary sales channel for every musician I know personally. As an avid listener of music I have also purchased hundreds of releases on Bandcamp.

I am reaching out to tell you that I absolutely support Bandcamp United. Bandcamp is a vital service for the underserved independent musician; it is by far the best marketplace for musicians to be able to sell access to their music in an equitable and fair way. Other market places exist, but none of them have the deep understanding of how to actually sell music to the masses, or how to make a storefront that’s fair to both artists and listeners alike.

It is the strength of Bandcamp’s workers that has made it this way, and it is those workers who are to be credited with Bandcamp’s success. Please remember who actually built the company, and whose efforts have made it the most trusted name in independent music today.

I urge you to recognize the union, offer employment to all Bandcamp employees, and continue bargaining in good faith.
